Jacquinet-Dumez

Aline and Olivier are the fourth generation to cultivate vineyards in the little-known Premier Cru village of Les Mesneux, just outside Reims. Their daughter Diane, an oenologist, has joined them on the estate. As independent winemakers, they vinify only their own grapes from the terroirs of Sacy, Les Mesneux, and Villedommange. Olivier emphasizes the “fresh ripeness” of the grapes through careful soil management, the choice of vinification in tanks and barrels, the use of low dosages, and by “harvesting” the wines at just the right moment. The range of seven champagnes is particularly well-crafted and delightful. The estate offers a three-bedroom guesthouse, ideal for exploring this part of the vineyard.
