Laurianne Lejour

Laurianne Lejour - Brut - BSA - Champagne bottle
91 / 100 Champagne
Vintage : BSA
Classification : Blanc
Color :
Effervescent blanc
Budget : €25 to €45

Gault&Millau's review 2023

A transparent, slightly tinted color announces the mineral, saline nose, with fresh white fruits (peach). The bubbles are skimmed and very airy on a light mousse. Fresh yellow fruit opens unexpectedly to coat the palate with exotic sweetness (pineapple). This wine needs time to reveal the freshness of the Montagne de Reims grand cru.

Laurianne Lejour
Laurianne Lejour
Laurianne Lejour, who runs her small 1.5-hectare vineyard, describes herself as a farmer, winemaker, and artisan. A graduate of the École Boulle—a prestigious school of art and architecture—she took over the family vineyards located on the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, which are classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Based in Condé-sur-Marne, she vinifies each plot individually, with precision, care, and high standards. Laurianne produces her champagnes without malolactic fermentation, and in 2020, the estate received HVE certification. Recently, a sixth cuvée has been added to the lineup: a blanc de blancs named Sauvage.
