A complex fragrance enlivens the rich, racy nose of white fruit in brandy, juicy pear, bergamot and calisson d'Aix. On the palate, the attack is generous and frank. The winey chewiness punctuates a feeling of candied citrus and reinette apple around a sustained dosage of 14 g/l. To be discovered and enjoyed with a salt-crusted sea bass.

The house is located in Cerseuil, a small village perched in the Flagot valley, where the Mathelin family has been cultivating all its vines since 1791. Today, ecology, grassing and biodiversity are the challenges facing this 13.5-hectare estate, which has been HVE3-certified since 2014. Vinification and ageing are carried out in vats, except for the "L'Orée des Chênes" cuvée, which is aged in barrels. As a grower-manipulator, the domaine vinifies only grapes from its own vines. The resulting range comprises three collections: Origine, Collector and Premium. Today, Cédric and Aurélien are open to wine tourism and welcome you to both the domaine and their gîte, "La Nuit Étoilée", to discover the region.
