This beautifully effervescent cuvée, composed of 60% pinot noir and 40% pinot meunier, has a subtle, slightly buttery nose and aromas reminiscent of freshly cut grass. On the palate, there are notes of berries with a hint of acidity, followed by a hint of bitterness on the finish.

Michel Hoerter

Winegrowers since four generations, the members of the Hoerter family setlled in the village of Essômes sur Marne. Nowadays, Jean-Philippe, great grandson of the founding member, manages this 9-hectare estate. He mostly grows Pinot Meunier and has been doing so according to sustainable viticulture for more than 16 years (cover crops one row out of two, leafing, mechanical weeding, ferlilizer from cattle). The vines are approximately 40 years old and the oldest plot was planted in 1936.
