With its strawberry juice color, this rosé de saignée releases lively bubbles. On tasting, the salinity is very appealing and the palate develops around strawberry, slightly kirschy northern cherry and candied citrus zest. Very vinous, long and fresh on the finish, with beautiful bitters, this rosé is perfect for prawns or grilled lobster.

M. Marcoult

Julien Marcoult and his wife Florence manage the family estate located in Barbonne-Fayel, a village in Champagne with medieval roots. They cultivate 12 hectares of vineyards, mostly Chardonnay, across three regions: the Côte du Sézannais, the Côte des Bar, and the Côte du Vitryat. This gives them a diverse terroir ranging from clay, chalk, and sandy soils to flint pebbles, and each plot is vinified separately and aged in various containers (stainless steel, wood, Wineglobe, etc.). From the vineyards—where they practice eco-grazing and cover cropping—to their minimally interventionist winemaking, they craft their wines with care and conviction.
