Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The Fournier family acquired some vines in Festigny in the 1930s. Thierry Fournier Champagne, founded in 1983 by Thierry and Murielle Fournier in Festigny, now covers 15 hectares, or 43 parcels, spread over 11 communes in the Marne Valley. Pinot meunier, which dominates at 80%, is complemented by chardonnay and pinot noir, grown on clay-limestone soils typical of the Marne terroir. The wines are aged for a minimum of 48 months on lees. The children, Julien and Maxime, have joined their parents in the adventure. Visits and tastings are available at 1 route de Chouilly in Cuis.
