The estate is located in the village of Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Family-run since 1860, bottle production began just after the Second World War, with small volumes, before the estate extended its vineyards to the prestigious neighboring villages of Cramant and Oger. Chardonnay reigns supreme, making it possible to produce a wide range of champagnes that are always full of finesse, in the image of Denis Varnier, who passed away in January 2017. Valérie Varnier, his wife, continues to keep the Varnier-Fannière brand alive.
