Bakery
Passionate about the taste and wholesomeness of good products, Annabel Jean and Matthew Kelvin, an Anglo-French couple, set themselves apart by their choice to use only quality organic ingredients. Based in the wonderful town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, next to the emblematic collegiate church of Notre-Dame-des-Anges, these atypical bakers specialize in sourdough breads and brioches. These sourdough breads are baked the old-fashioned way for better preservation, digestion and taste. Sold by weight, they are available in a dozen references: 4-hand kneaded bread, plain farmhouse bread, seeded bread, walnut bread, small spelt bread, rustic bread... Their Shokupan-style sandwich bread, made using the emblematic Japanese technique, is extraordinarily soft, to be enjoyed without moderation! The succulent brioches, in a variety of flavors (sugar, chocolate, orange blossom, homemade pink pralines) and seasonal flavors (babka, cinnamon rolls...) are the pride of the house, as are their cookies and savory focaccias.
