Fish shop In Charente, the Bellet fish farms have been well known since 1957: “My grandfather was one of the pioneers of trout farming. He was the one who built the fish farm,” explains Loïc Bellet, who took over this family business in 2025. Supported by a passionate team, he manages the sites in Touvre and Villement, where the workshop and a store are also located. “We handle everything from start to finish, from purchasing the eggs in the Pyrenees to raising the fish. ” A unique feature: the exceptional La Touvre property, which maintains a constant temperature year-round, resulting in high-quality fish. 600 metric tons are produced annually, destined for both consumers and professionals throughout France. Rainbow and brown trout are sold live or processed—including fresh trout, smoked trout, carpaccio, fillets, and more. This excellence was recognized with a silver medal at the 2026 Agricultural Competition.
