The quality of the oven, installed over a century ago, isn’t the only selling point of this bakery: a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, perfectly baked bread served with a smile and helpful advice are just as much a part of its success, in addition to its prime location. Local flours are used to make high-quality specialty breads—including einkorn, khorasan, stone-ground sourdough, rye, and whole-grain—as well as delicious pastries and cookies, shortbread, waffles, and madeleines… They also offer savory items, including croissants and filled crepes, croques, cheese puffs, sandwiches, and salads.
