Au Bouchon de Papa is a restaurant that warms the soul. Just like Ludovic, who founded it as a tribute to his father—who passed away too soon to be part of the adventure—the atmosphere is simple and welcoming. In fact, people of all ages—from 20 to 90—have made it their go-to spot, whether for lunch or dinner or for its famous evening events. On Friday and Saturday nights, the culinary delights are accompanied by karaoke, and on Wednesday nights, all-you-can-eat themed dishes are served (mussels, frog legs, carpaccio… with fries). Every dish is delicious because everything is made from scratch using fresh ingredients. Even the fries are homemade! Ludovic has selected a variety of potatoes perfect for double-frying according to traditional methods, ensuring they’re golden, crispy, and melt-in-your-mouth. They pair perfectly with the traditional dishes on the menu (veal cutlet, veal cordon bleu, croque-monsieur, bruschetta, and other gourmet open-faced sandwiches…). The restaurant has been so successful that Ludovic has opened a second location at 38 Rue de la Gare in Creutzwald!
