Gault&Millau's review 2026

A wonderful local spot in the heart of the Brionnais region, run by Filipe Pereira and his wife. It’s a country house with views of the surrounding countryside, offering authentic, hearty local cuisine served with care. On the €52 set menu: pork tenderloin wrapped in cheesecloth, seasoned with turmeric and salt, carrot tops and sorrel, reduced vinaigrette, and raspberries; roasted sea bass fillet, vegetable tian, and curry-spiced mussels; Charolais beef fillet, amandine-style with duck fat, and Madagascar pepper. For dessert, a reimagined lemon meringue tart with a creamy lime and lemon filling, or a Norwegian omelet with mango sorbet, spiked sponge cake, and meringue.
