Remarkable Restaurant
Sébastien Buecher’s great achievement is evident every day when you see this beautiful forest inn in the foothills of the Vosges—so lively, so welcoming, so vibrant. For a quarter of a century since he took over the family business, the chef has worked tirelessly to keep the flame alive, showcase local products, and further strengthen the restaurant’s identity day by day. Exquisite ingredients—whether regional or premium—are showcased with skill and finesse: Arctic char with sweet-and-sour zucchini and fish bone broth, foie gras and smoked eel with Alsatian quetsches, Düwehof pigeon with melon sablé, a club sandwich with duck legs and ham—all part of a menu brimming with great ideas, right down to the indulgent desserts, such as tonka bean mousse and apricot in various textures. A fine seasonal menu for €71, with a well-stocked wine cellar featuring regional wines.
