Since May 2025, Christine and Christophe's Australe restaurant has been serving seasonal, bistronomic cuisine with worldly influences, in a sober, convivial setting. The limited menu is renewed every month, to reflect the seasons as closely as possible. Dishes are prepared using fresh, local produce: "My suppliers are located less than 30 km from the restaurant, most of them in Rosheim", explains Chef Christophe. Located right in the center of Rosheim, next to the post office, the restaurant boasts an attractive terrace. It perfectly complements the local offer, which features traditional cuisine. "In Alsace, many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is why we chose to open on those two evenings." The restaurant's name, Australe, refers to the aurora borealis and is an invitation to travel. Excellent value for money, with starter+main course or main course+dessert formulas at €29 or starter+main course+dessert at €36.
