Gault&Millau's review2026
Reservations are a must if you hope to sample the bistro-style dishes and enjoy a bottle from a wine list as thick as a phone book. Duvin is always packed—and for good reason. Everything comes together to ensure guests have a wonderful time, starting with the warm, friendly atmosphere created by the staff, who know exactly what the chef and sommelier are capable of when they work together. The chef showcases his culinary passion and respect for seasonal ingredients through classic dishes, ranging from egg salad to chocolate mousse, including duck to share, beef tenderloin tartare, black garlic mayonnaise, and crispy veal sweetbreads with wilted spinach and Jerusalem artichokes. The sommelier presents a wine list sure to dazzle any passing connoisseur. Wines by the glass, bottle, magnum, and even jeroboam; a curated selection (Domaine du Clos Naudin in Vouvray, Françoise Bedel in Champagne, Vico in Corsica, Gauby in Côtes Catalanes… and so many others), along with a genuine enthusiasm for discussing them and taking the time to chat.
