Set on the edge of the ocean, with the island of Groix opposite, the 3* Les Mouettes hotel enjoys an exceptional location, offering guests a truly Breton ambience. To run his bistro, he placed his trust in chef Nicolas Le Tirrand, whose talents had already been acclaimed at the helm of his Sources restaurant in Lorient (three toques). He puts his technique at the service of a fine bistronomy, celebrating marine flavors in an accessible spirit, while revealing his experience and mastery. We'll be back for fish ceviche with tarragon, daikon and bonito jelly, cockles from the Étel ria with ginger butter and sea rockrose, hake from a small boat, mussels au naturel and dill, pollack with iodized condiments and yellow wine sauce, floating island with tonka crunch and miso caramel. Good cellar.
