Remarkable Restaurant
A MOF-certified chef who champions French cuisine has become a rare find in this era of tuna tataki, veggie bowls, and beet hummus. In this bourgeois home in an upscale suburb, the restaurant is a sanctuary for connoisseurs and discerning regulars. Every dish, every sauce, every side dish is a masterpiece—all the more commendable given that they’re part of a genuine menu offering a wide selection, another rarity in itself. Here, diners are treated to a feast, just as in true restaurants: with langoustines in angel hair pasta and a chutney of saffron-candied pineapple and tomatoes, sole fillet on the bone with lemon confit, spinach, and juniper juice; and Bresse chicken breast stuffed with its own confit thigh, topped with a delightful Albuféra sauce that gracefully coats the dish, along with a tartlet of foie blonds. We’ll eagerly move on to dessert: roasted and poached yellow fruits with pecans and almond ice cream, or strawberries and rhubarb with elderflower strawberry coulis and rhubarb sorbet. A spacious wine cellar, perfect for honoring Beaujolais wines and treating yourself to a Côte-Rôtie or a fine Burgundy.
