Chef's Restaurant
Nothing but the best at Neptune’s Trident: the fish at Helen’s is always outstanding—a statement that applies to every course, right down to the desserts served from the cart, which are superbly crafted by an excellent pastry chef. The evening menu is a bit more extensive and appealing, but lunch is also excellent, served in an atmosphere of connoisseurs savoring their meals in an almost ascetic calm: the thin strips of sea bass with citrus-infused sauce vierge, quite minimalist, and the grilled John Dory with créoline sauce—a beautiful, perfectly cooked fillet that might have deserved a more carefully chosen side dish. The wine cellar is fairly well-stocked, offering a broad selection, though generally on the expensive side, with a few more affordable bottles; the service is in keeping with the neighborhood.
