Remarkable Restaurant
Nolwenn Corre has undoubtedly brought a breath of fresh air and a very positive energy to this 70-year-old family-run inn. By putting the new generation in charge, she’s also taking the right approach for this inn, which serves as a flagship for the entire Finistère Peninsula. With her “Grande de Demain 2026” title, the young chef can continue to look ahead, for the future looks bright: a vivid imagination, ingredients she knows inside and out and always selects with discernment, and an added momentum that brings to life the many improvements made over the years. Having trained at Alléno and Le Squer, she demonstrates a refined mastery of seafood, paired with simplicity and subtlety: Douarnenez sardines and tomato jelly; blue lobster salad, stuffed cherries, eggplant cream; glazed broth, mussels, and chilled green jus; poached John Dory, zucchini, toasted hemp… The courses are well-crafted, light, and harmonious, culminating in the guinea fowl with artichokes, fennel with honey and maritime pine, or raspberries and mild chili peppers. The atmosphere is invigorating, and the service is as dynamic as the chef herself, delivered with a smile and professionalism.
