Emmanuelle and Kimberley have taken up a challenge in this village nestled in the Verdon, by taking over an establishment that they wanted to reflect their own image: welcoming, gourmet and demanding! At Joio, which simply means joy in Provençal, everything is bright! The partitions have been opened up to reveal a cosy decor of beige, olive green and touches of yellow, the color of joy and sunshine, which naturally extends the charm of the terrace. The tableware is in perfect harmony with the marvellous dishes served, inspired by the flavours of the South and Provencal cuisine and concocted with fresh, seasonal produce... Not to mention a healthy dose of creativity and love! Enjoy revisited specialties such as Sisteron Label rouge lamb confit or homemade chocolate mousse enhanced by "L'Oliveraie Ma Nine" extra virgin olive oil, hand-harvested on the Valensole plateau, birthplace of this fine address! This fragrant, light and aesthetically pleasing cuisine is accompanied by carefully selected rosé wines from Provence or Côte du Rhône.
