One of the biggest names in wine naturally has a showcase in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, offering an exceptional getaway in the heart of the vineyards. The 4-star hotel features a superb gourmet restaurant, run with precision and intuition by Kevin Bottemer. It’s an opulent dining room decorated in a classic, bourgeois style, where guests can enjoy reimagined versions of regional dishes: a starter of yellowtail, rhubarb, and elderflower; trout with morels and vin jaune; a lovely pigeon with cherries and brocolettis; and a dessert of rhubarb, yogurt, and pink peppercorns. Wines from the Olivier Leflaive estate are, of course, highly recommended, but the wine cellar is by no means limited to the house’s own vintages: Zind-Humbrecht, Bouzereau, de Vogüe, Romanée-Conti, Méo-Camuzet, Hubert Lamy, Léoville-Las Cases, Salon, Clos Rougeard, Vernay, Egon Müller, Vega-Sicilia…
