Gault&Millau's review2026
A restaurant with a long and distinguished tradition, perhaps a touch more formulaic today than in the past, but one that, fortunately, still satisfies our thirst for unvarnished, uncompromising tradition. In a well-preserved setting, we heartily savor all the gems of our classic French cuisine: the pâté-croûte of the day, the little veal sweetbread turnover, snails, chicken in cream and vin jaune sauce, bouchée à la reine, Dijon-style kidneys in a casserole, Rossini-style beef tenderloin, frogs’ legs, and pike quenelles with Nantua sauce—a specialty true to the restaurant’s name… A well-curated menu, just like the service—efficient and well-organized.
