A little slice of paradise? That’s the image that comes to mind most easily after visiting Geneviève, Patrick, and their children. The transition is happening in perfect harmony, and we certainly hope to continue enjoying this magical spot, nestled along the long, fine-sand beach of Estagnol, for decades to come. Bouillabaisse, my grilled locally caught fish, anchoyade made with fresh vegetables and that delicious régalade sauce, the great pleasure of langoustines, simply grilled, or served with spaghetti and an excellent bisque—are the constant hallmarks of incredible enjoyment in this atmosphere of eternal vacation that the family manages to create every year, every day for nearly five months, with feet in the sand and heads under the moonlight. A motivated and dedicated staff, a wine cellar that supports all the winemakers of Bormes, and a unique and unforgettable welcome.
