Gault&Millau's review 2026

A barrel on the sidewalk, bottles serving as vases for bright daffodils, a sign referring to the world of wine... the message is crystal clear! Quentin Bouquet (sommelier of Bretagne Gault&Millau 2023 when he officiated at Ar Men Du) joined forces with Titouan Binard to open this pocket restaurant in the heart of town. There's no fixed wine list, but a wide selection of organic and natural wines, described with great verve by Quentin. A willing player, tasting is often done blind. Fresh, seasonal, local... On the main course, four suggestions, including dessert, renewed every two weeks. It's certainly minimalist, but so successful! Extremely well thought-out and executed, this aesthetically pleasing kitchen plays perfectly with contrasts. Placed on a plate covered with "seaweed dust", the pollack, highlighted with a hazelnut butter emulsion, is accompanied by mashed celery ball, in brunoise. As for the pork, it makes the most of the saltiness of a seawater emulsion and the persillade of cockles. A "simple" rice pudding acidified by a Breton kiwi brings the meal to a pleasant close. And let's not forget the quality of the bread and butter. Terrace in fine weather.
