Bruno Doucet, at Le Véfour and Le Moulin, never stops bringing joy to his fellow diners. The feast continues on Rue Saint-Honoré, much to the delight of the neighborhood, which finds in this bon vivant atmosphere the modernized home-style cuisine that he blends so well: snails in potato shells, octopus salad with chickpea hummus, a thick cut of hake with tomatoes and piquillo peppers, crispy confit pork belly with French-style green peas, and a coffee, almond, and amaretto tart. Consistency, a warm atmosphere, delicious food, and fine wine—you can never go wrong when you walk through the door.
