Alice and Valentin used their first names to christen this pleasant eatery in the heart of the village, where the Cascade Insolite once stood. The setting is that of an elegant bistro, and the start-up is quite promising. The offer is limited, with no à la carte menu and two lunch menus, one of which is unavailable. So we tried the €35 Bistrot menu, with lentil and haddock salad, but without haddock ("Ah! they forgot it, I'll tell them!"), bone-in rabbit leg with mustard sauce, the mouhalabieh sadly missing, replaced by a slice of French toast. The house is run by two dedicated young employees, and the moment the bill is paid, we get a glimpse of Alice, the young owner. The cellar is small, with a small selection by the glass, including a VDF chardonnay presented as "burgundy".
