Gault&Millau's review2026
Lapérouse’s long and rich history makes it the pride and joy of its owner, Benjamin Patou, who is working to restore its former splendor and transform it into a unique, festive, and intimate venue for a select clientele. The venue certainly has a lot of charm, and its faithful yet modernized decor—designed with comfort in mind—fully preserves the boudoir atmosphere. In these elegant salons, you can also savor a taste of its heritage, with duck pâté en croûte and foie gras, Prunier caviar, grilled scallops with leek fondue, duck parmentier with summer truffles, or beef Wellington. The culinary excellence is guaranteed, and guests are delighted—right down to the chocolate soufflé, a staple since 1766, served with coconut sorbet.
