Jonathan Caron (Mantra on rue Rodier in Paris with chef Manogeran Shasitaran), has transformed the former Bistrot Saint-André into an annex of Itinérances, his flagship restaurant just a few yards away, on the same quay. A more accessible offering, of course, but also complementary and perfectly calibrated for a clientele that has obviously quickly embraced the new restaurant. A toque deserved by the lovely onion soup, the revisited egg meurette, the pretty fillet of sea bass and the rice pudding prepared according to the rules of the art. The cellar is simple and very short, the atmosphere good-natured and the prices contained.
