The original bouillon restaurant has been widely imitated, but it remains a destination that tourists from around the world come to enjoy. Chartier is truly the archetype of the bouillon restaurant, with its time-honored traditions and unique atmosphere. Of course, we don’t stray from tradition: herring with potatoes in oil, beef bourguignon with coquillette pasta—add fries for €2.50, finish with an île flottante, and you’ve feasted for less than €20.
