On the western tip of the Cotentin, at the very end of the peninsula, Antoine Fernandes’s restaurant enjoys a unique setting on this windswept moor, its solitary little house offering a breathtaking view over the ocean. On his €39 set menu, the chef continues to transport diners to another world with cuisine that’s surprisingly exotic for this little corner of Normandy, offering fusion dishes that blend local ingredients with Asian recipes. The meal begins with pigeon terrine, savora cream, and cauliflower pickles, followed by a lamb gua bao with roussin, sesame, and peanuts. It concludes with an elegant kinako sponge cake, caramel ice cream, and miso caramel. The service is very friendly.
