Chef's Restaurant
Just ten minutes from downtown lies one of Valenciennes’ finest restaurants, run by Emmanuel and Géraldine Hernandez for nearly twenty years. The chef, a graduate of the Bocuse Institute who trained under Guy Savoy, brings both experience and training to the table, proving season after season that he remains as enthusiastic and ambitious as ever. The cuisine blends signature dishes with seasonal creations, perfect for a special occasion or lunch with friends. We keep coming back for the duck breast tataki and pan-seared foie gras with Asian flavors, the seared octopus and squid ink risotto with diced shrimp, the iconic pan-seared veal sweetbreads, fresh linguine with morel cream, and a chocolate-olive oil dessert. Excellent front-of-house management by Géraldine.
