Jean-Yves Ferrand, a Franco-Belgian and the restaurant’s owner, took over the former Petit Savoyard in 2022, bringing his own unique touch to the place. Passionate, a food lover, and friendly, he enthusiastically discusses the ingredients of his success with his loyal local customers (including the cheerful members of the French Ski School) and tourists, as well as with his staff, who are energized by his high standards and vitality. His recipe: always fresh ingredients, as locally sourced as possible, creativity galore, good cheer in abundance, and a dash of humor. You’ll savor Savoyard specialties and Belgian gems artfully reimagined by Chef Manon. Platters of Savoie IGP and AOP charcuterie and cheeses to share, inspired salads in the summer and comforting soups in the winter, burgers, irresistible salmon tartare, Liège-style meatballs, buckwheat crozets, extra-prime rib from Montagne Saveur (a certified organic rancher in Aime-la-Plagne, right next door), and the Niélard dessert (black vanilla, olive oil, fleur de sel): it’s impossible to list all these delights, all paired with an excellent selection of wines, beers, and house-specialty cocktails!
