Gault&Millau's review2026
Housed in a typical Médoc bourgeois stone house, Tournebride is full of surprises inside. Behind the stoves, Julia, France's best apprentice in 2008, forged her career with some of the greats (Chibois, Gagnaire, Marcon) before launching this joint adventure with her husband, Nalin, in the heart of the Médoc. A couple's project that gives the place a real soul. In the kitchen, Julia creates a creative, seasonal menu. The pan-fried monkfish medallions, with their combination of candied squash and lemon, are well mastered. The mango-coconut-passion dessert ends on a fresh, light note. The curious, well-constructed wine list, with its emphasis on organic wines, rounds off the experience perfectly.
