Description

Tasty, generous homemade burgers! This is the concept that Bastien Faure has developed in the Alpe d'Huez ski resort, at the piste traffic circle, a warm and inviting universe decorated with rock'n'ride-style woodwork and pretty photos. All year round, a dozen or so items are on the menu, regularly featuring a burger of the moment. From pickles to sauces and fries, everything is home-cooked with high-quality ingredients and butcher-style French meat steaks. The Trapper's creation is the original Trapper: Jack's, a steak topped with cheddar, pickled onions, fried bacon, maple syrup, spices and potato pancake, all flambéed with Jack Daniel's whisky. Cheese lovers will delight their taste buds with a Brie composed of salad steak, onion confit, truffled Brie and pommes frites sauce. Connoisseurs will also delight in the rampage sauce with maple syrup, sherry vinegar and American mustard. The burgers are gourmet, the atmosphere is lively and, weather permitting, you can enjoy the terrace overlooking the snow front and the Deux Alpes glacier.
