Christophe Hagnerelle and his wife Elisabeth continue to keep this beautiful, traditional Northern French home alive, and despite a name change in early 2026, the philosophy remains the same, and the expertise of the chef—who trained under master chefs such as Robuchon, Bardot, and Boyer—remains unchanged. Masterful cooking techniques, the selection of regional products—such as fish from the coast, trout from the rivers of the Hauts-de-France region, and beef raised in the village—and an elegant setting make this restaurant a must-visit for both regulars and food lovers traveling from a bit further afield. The weekly menu is designed to be seasonal, and guests can choose between a 3- or 4-course meal in addition to the lunch menu. A more gourmet evening menu will be offered, ranging from two to six courses. Locally caught fish is featured in a live-fish ceviche alongside lisette, or in a bouillabaisse-style broth with red mullet and hake. The village-raised beef is paired with a fricassee of pig’s trotters with cocos beans and summer truffles. There is an additional charge for the house specialty: veal sweetbreads browned in butter. The hostess curates a well-matched wine list.
