Gault&Millau's review2026
For nearly 30 years, Marc-Étienne Mont has been drawing Amiens residents away from the city center—and they rightly appreciate this charming restaurant, located slightly off the beaten path, with easy parking and meticulous service. Whether in the charming dining room with its nautical-inspired decor or on the spacious veranda, the same positive energy prevails, with friendly, efficient service that effectively showcases a cuisine that stays well clear of passing trends—featuring warm oysters in champagne, veal sweetbreads and roasted langoustines with chanterelle mushrooms, and a raspberry shortbread with lemon-yuzu cream. Seafood platters and oyster plates offer variety, and while the wine list is fairly extensive, it lacks passion.
