Just a short walk from the Cours Mirabeau and the Rotonde Fountain, chef Felipe Licandro has chosen to open his restaurant. Here, he serves up delightful French cuisine that showcases the classics of our culinary tradition: pâté en croûte, aioli… But make no mistake: above all, the restaurant serves high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared with a solid technical foundation. The French veal loin, served with a fricassee of seasonal vegetables, sweet potato purée, and a poivrade sauce, is a compelling example of this. We do, however, regret a lack of consistency in the service, which sometimes causes the dining experience to lose its flow. The dining room, a bit noisy and often full, reflects a loyal base of regulars, and the €34 set menu is a good value. A wine cellar featuring some fine local selections rounds out the experience.
