Just a stone's throw from the Place de la Contrescarpe, Kazuma Chikuda's little bistro is a favorite with many customers. With its colorful armchairs and golden potato chip chandelier, this curious place offers a particularly vegetal cuisine on all menus: lunch at €35 and a tasting menu at €65, dinner at €95. Starters include muslin peas, haddock and lavender emulsion, followed by a bavarois of white asparagus, bottarga, clams and lemon caviar. Main courses: hake with braised fennel, pil-pil sauce and spice-lacquered duckling, roasted potato, red wine sabayon and, to finish, a fresh dish of the moment with rhubarb-strawberry vacherin. This cuisine is accompanied by an organic and natural wine list. Service is relaxed, so if you're on your own or just two guests, we recommend reserving one of the tables on the mezzanine.
