Remarkable Restaurant
If a playwright published a play fifty years ago called *Loin d'Hagondange*, it is indeed to the very heart of the city that all the food lovers from the area—as well as from Luxembourg, Belgium, and Germany—make a pilgrimage. For Frédéric Sandrini’s creations are every bit as good as any others, having been in vogue for thirty years for both large family gatherings and intimate dinners. And the three-toque rating is well-deserved thanks to these masterfully prepared dishes, featuring fine seasonal ingredients in a beautiful contemporary setting: fish from the Atlantic or the English Channel, lobsters from the live tank, and poultry and meats from the finest farms. Hidden menus ranging from €90 to €165, plus a €55 lunch menu; a well-stocked wine cellar with 900 selections, expertly served by Alexandra Sandrini and Thomas Vimbert, the sommelier.
