They are three sisters of Vietnamese origin, driven by the desire to introduce as many people as possible to traditional family cuisine, using the recipes of their mother and grandmother, both great chefs. To delight their customers, their foodtruck stops in Hombourg and Bettendorf on Tuesdays, Bartenheim-la-Chaussée on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Kappelen on Fridays. Estelle, the eldest, is at the stove, while Victoria serves and Kimberly cashes in. Chicken and vegetable nems, Bo bun (rice noodles with crudités, lemongrass-fried beef and chopped nems), and Bahn Mi (half a French baguette topped with wok-fried shredded chicken, vinegared carrots, fresh coriander and homemade aioli mayonnaise) are among the foodtruck's best-sellers. For those with a sweet tooth, try the saïgonnaise banana cooked in coconut milk with tapioca balls and sprinkled with peanuts, served hot or cold. Flavours that make you want to travel! Please note: Ti Hai's meat is hallal, raw materials are sourced locally and vegetarians and vegans are welcome. Please note: also open on Saturdays, by reservation.
