Gault&Millau's review 2026

This wine seduces with its expressive nose of citrus fruit, apricot, pear, sweet spices and rose petal. The palate offers a refreshing attack, with a creamy, gourmet texture. Simple yet effective, with toasty notes that prolong its energy. The finish reveals a slight bitterness offset by juicy white fruit. An ideal all-rounder to liven up an evening.

Constant Harlin settled in the Grande Montagne de Reims and founded his brand in 1848. Since 2017, Jacques Paillard-Chauvet, representing the fifth generation, has been managing this estate, which comprises just under 9 hectares of vineyards planted primarily with Pinot Noir. The vineyard is located across four villages classified as Grand Cru and one village classified as Premier Cru, spread across seven plots of clay-limestone soil. The estate prioritizes plot-by-plot winemaking to select the very best from its terroirs. It is certified as High Environmental Value (HVE3).
