Gault&Millau's review 2026

A complex nose combining redcurrant, raspberry and peony, followed by boxwood, vine peach and strawberry. The palate offers a light attack with a hint of roundness and perceptible dosage. Fresh and salivating, it reveals expressive fruit flavors, particularly red fruit. A perfect accompaniment to a strawberry dessert.

Constant Harlin settled in the Grande Montagne de Reims and founded his brand in 1848. Since 2017, Jacques Paillard-Chauvet, representing the fifth generation, has been managing this estate, which comprises just under 9 hectares of vineyards planted primarily with Pinot Noir. The vineyard is located across four villages classified as Grand Cru and one village classified as Premier Cru, spread across seven plots of clay-limestone soil. The estate prioritizes plot-by-plot winemaking to select the very best from its terroirs. It is certified as High Environmental Value (HVE3).
