Gault&Millau's review 2025

Sunny notes greet the nose, evoking stone fruit, fresh raspberry and more pastry-like aromas of lemon madeleine and brioche. On the palate, the extra-brut side is clearly evident, with a trace of mineral acidity that contributes to a smooth, delicate texture. A lovely aperitif wine or an introduction to non-dosed champagnes.

Lacuisse Frères
Lacuisse Frères
Founded by Julien Lacuisse and his sons, the family has been cultivating 17 hectares of vineyards since the early 20th century in the town of Sermiers, a village classified as a Premier Cru in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The vineyard is planted primarily with the Meunier grape variety, supplemented by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate is HVD- and VDC-certified and benefits from the village’s unique subsoil, composed of marl, clay, and siliceous sand, which allows the grape varieties to fully express their flavors and aromas.
