Gault&Millau's review 2026

A stewed nose that opens with notes of toast, black pepper, undergrowth, earth after rain, walnut brownie and chocolate. On the palate, there's a certain vinosity with notes of evolution. The bubbles are fine and dynamic, with a generous texture reminiscent of coffee cream. A gourmet champagne.

Lacuisse Frères
Lacuisse Frères
Founded by Julien Lacuisse and his sons, the family has been cultivating 17 hectares of vineyards since the early 20th century in the town of Sermiers, a village classified as a Premier Cru in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The vineyard is planted primarily with the Meunier grape variety, supplemented by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate is HVD- and VDC-certified and benefits from the village’s unique subsoil, composed of marl, clay, and siliceous sand, which allows the grape varieties to fully express their flavors and aromas.
