A lovely, buttery Chardonnay nose! Flattering floral notes, white peach, ginger and nuts. This fresh nutty nose is very pleasant. On the palate, the wine is rich and straightforward, with energetic, elegant bubbles. The whole is dynamic, marked by citrus fruit. Retro aromas of orange, acacia honey and passion fruit delight the palate. The finish is saline and elegant. A luminous champagne!

Monmarthe

The Monmarthe family embarked on their champagne journey in 1930. Over the generations, the house has grown, expanded, and modernized. The 17-hectare vineyard, located primarily in Ludes, is divided into 25 plots, distributed almost equally among the three main grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier). Jean-Guy Monmarthe, a sixth-generation winemaker, leads the house and preserves this exceptional terroir alongside Gauthier (seventh generation). Together, they craft blended champagnes and single-vineyard champagnes that showcase the terroirs of Ludes in the Montagne de Reims.
