This Trois Cépages - 1/3 pinot meunier, 1/3 pinot noir and 1/3 chardonnay - all from the 2015 harvest, reveals great complexity on the nose with the presence of red and black berries (redcurrants and blackberries), dried straw and toasted bread. The palate is less exuberant, still on the reserve, but taut and elegant, with a finish of citrus zest and beautiful bitterness. A bottle to wait for. Try with tuna tartare with citrus zest and croutons fried in seaweed butter.

Since the 2023 harvest, Loann Mignon has been stepping up to take over from his father, Christophe, who has proudly upheld the fine values of this 6-hectare estate where the Meunier grape reigns supreme. In the heart of the Marne Valley, between Festigny and Le Breuil, the twenty or so plots are cultivated using alternative methods certified by Arterra: the lunar calendar, geobiology, phytotherapy, homeopathy, soil cultivation, and the preparation of herbal preparations and dynamic solutions. The “ADN de Meunier” cuvées are vinified in enameled steel tanks without any time in oak, while the “ADN de Foudre” cuvées are aged in oak casks.
