Champagnes
Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The Massin family has been working the vines since 1865, but it wasn't until 1975 that the 4th generation decided to make their own champagne. The children, Céline and Tristan (5th generation), have joined their mother in running the business. The 13-hectare estate is planted mainly with Pinot Noir, partly from vines over 60 years old. Respectful winemaking practices, parcel-by-parcel vinification, ageing in vats and barrels... The family pulls out all the stops to reveal the richness of their terroir. The company is expanding through its hospitality and tours, as well as accommodation and their restaurant Les Tonnelles in Bar-sur-Seine.
