Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Founded in 1862 by Henri Alexandre de Lossy, Baron de Ville, Champagne de Lossy was an emblematic champagne brand worldwide at the end of the 19th century. Bought out and relaunched in 2024, the house today retains a strong identity focused on excellence rather than volume. Alexandre Cattier, cellar master and Champagne winemaker, embodies Lossy's spirit of craftsmanship. The company emphasizes proximity to its terroir, from its château to its vineyards in Rilly-la-Montagne, fostering an intimate link between vineyard and winemaking. It currently offers two prestige cuvées: a brut and a rosé.
