Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
A true standard-bearer for the Anjou Noir region, both for his dry whites and his sweet wines, Patrick Baudouin has worked tirelessly since taking over the estate in 1990 to promote the wines of his terroir. A winemaker deeply committed to his environment, his 12.5 hectares of vineyards, planted exclusively with Chenin, have been certified organic since 2005. His work with the terroir is expressed through single-vineyard cuvées in the Anjou Blanc, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon, and Quarts-de-Chaume appellations. In early 2026, the estate was acquired by Anatole de la Brosse, a winemaker who also heads two other estates in the Loire. Although he plans to bring his own touch and modernize the estate, Patrick Baudouin is overseeing the transition of the estate, which, for the time being, retains the name of its distinguished winemaker.
