Lovely notes of Morello cherries on the nose, red fruit, citrus and brioche. Zan and pain au chocolat are not far off. The palate is pleasant, with lovely tension, no sweetness, but controlled greediness. It's juicy and easy to imagine on the table. The vinous finish could do with a touch more pep, but can be enjoyed on its crunchy red fruit.

Lucile Proy

Lucile Goulard, who comes from a long line of female winemakers in Champagne, founded the Lucile Proy champagne house with her husband, Alexandre Proy, in 2012 in Épernay. Lucile oversees the wines, while Alexandre manages the vineyards. The house cultivates 6 hectares of vineyards spread across the Côte des Blancs and the Saint-Thierry massif (Trigny, Janvry). The varied soils offer a beautiful distinctiveness and great aromatic diversity. The wines are partially fermented in old barrels, then aged for at least three years on the lees, with very low dosage to preserve the expression of the terroir.
